Selling and Packing a Home while Homeschooling:Laundry?

selling, packing homeschooling

I do a lot of laundry.  Not like the Duggars!  But with 6 people-soon to be 8 again-including a newborn-the washer will never stop.  When you need to move, sell your house, or pack here are some quick tips for handling clothes and laundry.

  • Purge, purge, purge.  Get rid of clothing you don’t need.  Give it away.  Throw it away.  Sell it.
  • Pack some up.  Get down to bare clothing needed for kids.  Homeschooling really allows you to do this.
  • Pack more up.  I packed up all sheets, but one set per bed.  Towels I didn’t cause we always seem to need them.
  • I can’t wait to pack up winter stuff!  How about you?
  • Keep up with Laundry. No one wants to see dirty laundry.
  • Keep your laundry room tidy.

This week I will continue to give tips for:

  • Homeschool area and what to do with the kids
  • Hiding the pets and kids
  • Open House

While my goal is to help homeschooling families, any mom getting ready to move will find these tips helpful.  I also welcome another tips in the comments!

I do not blog alone over these next two weeks Hopscotch!  Check out all these other great post over the next 2 weeks!
