Tips for Selling and Packing your House: Staging Baskets

selling, packing homeschooling

So my thought, how am I going to get the house in order quickly to show.  I came up with the idea of staging baskets.  I bought cheap towels the same color and got a laundry basket, and use these towels only for showings.

So this is what our bathroom looks like normally:

None of our towels match!  So I with in 5 minutes I can do this.

The towels make a switch in the staging basket along with anything else that needs to be quickly picked up.

These staging baskets I have for the kitchen table-with a clean table cloth and decoration for table in it, bathrooms, and just a basket to collect junk.

Over the next two weeks I will give tips for:

  • The outside of the house
  • Pack all the toys and getting the kids involved
  • The battle of Laundry
  • Homeschool area and what to do with the kids
  • The kitchen
  • Hiding the pets and kids
  • Open House

While my goal is to help homeschooling families, any mom getting ready to move will find these tips helpful.  I also welcome another tips in the comments!

I do not blog alone over these next two weeks Hopscotch!  Check out all these other great post over the next 2 weeks!

Brought to you by these lovely ladies…
